Jesus Christ is the theme of the Bible!
We might similarly say:
The kingdom of God and His Christ is its theme...

Note: A consideration of the prophecies foretelling our coming King, and why that is important! It seems a new thought or idea for many... Previously, I did a Bible study [webpage] titled "Messianic Prophecies" highlighting major prophecies that generated the expectation of (John 7:31; Mat 12:22-23) and then documented the arrival of Jesus as the Messiah and/or our sacrificial Saviour. In my research, I found lots of people had attempted that previously. It seemed logical to me to do a similar study of the prophecies about Jesus's return [or second coming] (Acts 1:6-7) as King of Creation. (Rev 21:1-4; Luke 1:28-33; 1 Cor 15:12-28) When undertaking such a task, I normally search for and read similar works done by others.
[You should, and I try to be, very cautious of the Bible studies done by others, because they often contain erroneous beliefs. Your only completely safe read is the Bible, with a focus on the Gospels of Christ... (Mark 9:7; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)]
If I can find someone who seems sensible, I like to try and stand on his or her shoulders to see what scriptures they have gathered on the subject; and what I can see from standing atop what they learned [again, cautiously checking "if" what they assert is scriptural really is]. Shockingly, I could find little written to gather the major prophecies about Christ's "return" or "second coming" as King. [There were lots of writings about God's Kingdom, but what I found was mostly gibberish with few scriptures.] Undertaking, then, to compile a list of some major Bible prophecies about the coming of Christ as King, I believe I quickly see why no one has done it. The Bible is absolutely full of prophecies about the coming Kingdom of God. Listing all the prophecies about the coming of our King Jesus Christ would thus include a great portion of the Bible! Still, above is my effort to showcase some of those prophecies announcing the establishment of the Kingdom; in a reasonably brief study...

It seems logical to first establish the importance of the prophecies pointing to Jesus as King, by a consideration of the famous model prayer Jesus gave where he higlighted God's Kingdom. You are likely aware of it; Christ taught:
“YOU must pray, then, this way: ‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be "sanctified"...
[Other translators thought the original Hebrew conveyed the thought that the Divine Name should be "honored," "kept holy," "sanctified" or "Hallowed"...]
...10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.'" (Mat 6:9-10)
Clearly, Jesus Christ, as King of God's Kingdom, thought his Father's Kingdom was important; along with the sanctification and glorification of his Father's Name. (John 17:4 & 6 of 1-10)
Know and use God's Name! (Mal 3:16-4:3) The Divine Hebrew Name of our Creator is יהוה. To those familiar with English, "The Name" sounds like Yea•Vah. However, "Yea•Vah" is just a made up English "sounds like" and so should probably not be written to represent our Creator. God's Name is Hebrew and is one Hebrew word you should learn: It's just four Hebrew characters written right to left ~ יהוה.
Jesus said we should pray for his Father's Kingdom to come, and prophesied the Kingdom would bring his Father's will on earth as in heaven. Jesus thus preached about and encouraged hope and faith in his Father's Kingdom. It is important to Jesus!

Also, Jesus introduced himself as the Son of God and King of God's Kingdom! (Mat 26:63-64) Bible prophecies thus tell us speaking about the Kingdom of Christ and the Kingdom of יהוה is one and the same thing; because Jesus is God's anointed King of that Kingdom! (Rev 11:15; Psa 110; 1 Cor 15:12-28) Very important: If you love Christ [are his friend], יהוה has transferred you into the Kingdom of the Son of his Love! (John 15:11-16; Col 1:13-14 of 3-23) It seems you do well to understand what being a friend of Jesus means!
*1 ...Ancient King David and Christ being given his throne: About 3500 years ago, during the time יהוה was using the nation of Israel as his chosen people [they being selected and used by God to produce the Christ as Savior of "all" repentant mankind (Gal 3:26-29)], we learn of King David. David was an exceptionally faithful King over Israel and loved by God, (Acts 13:22) he thus representing יהוה's Kingdom over the earth. David was blessed by God to destroy his enemies all around and bring peace to Jerusalem, where God's Temple existed. The Jews as a nation were unfaithful, however, finally rejecting the Messiah God sent them, and their kingdom was destroyed and the nation abandoned by God. From that time forward, they would only be accepted as individuals based on faith in Christ. (Mat 23:37-39)
[Jerusalem was actually destroyed for her unfaithfulness some 600 years before Jesus was born (in 607 BCE), but she was rebuilt in 406 BCE so Israel could still be used to produce mankind's Savior; just as God had promised Abraham and his son Isaac and grandson Jacob (Jacob renamed Israel by God). (Gen 22:15-18; Gen 26:3-6; Gen 35:9-12; Gal 3:26-29)]
A string of Gentile nations ruled the earth (Luke 21:24) from the destruction of ancient Jerusalem until about 1914 CE, when Jesus was enthroned in heaven as God's new and eternal earthly King, thus being seated on the throne of David forever. (Luke 1:30-33) That brings us to our day in time and all is now happening just as God prophesied. (Dan 9:20-27) We are now in the midst of the tribulation and probably Armageddon; as Christ is subduing in the midst of his enemies (Psa 110) so as to enforce his Kingdom rule over the earth [destroy his enemies]. (Rev 21:1-4) All Christians thus receive the promises made to Abraham, by being adopted as sons of Jacob [Israel]. (Gal 3:26-29) They are thus a New Creation and the modern day and eternal Israel of God! (Gal 6:14-16) They reside forever in New Jerusalem... (Rev 21:1-4)
God's Kingdom, I hope you understand, is a very real government that is in the process of taking over rulership of the earth, forever! (Dan 8:23-26; Dan 2:44) These prophecies are provided to help you understand and truly believe that is all true. You surely must know that what you have faith is true, is very important! (Mat 21:21-22; Mat 14:25-31) Your faith in Christ, and your talking about it, equates with the preservation of your life! (Mal 3:16-4:3; Rom 10:9-10)
