The Coming of the King!
End of the Gentile Times...
[End of the seven times.]
(Written: July, 2014)

This webpage assumes faith by the reader that Christ Jesus is the ransom sacrifice provided by his Father. (Acts 4:12 & 4:8-12; Acts 2:29-36) It assumes belief Jesus came to the earth, died for our sins, and was resurrected to sit at God's right hand; awaiting the time for Christ to assume kingly power. (Luke 1:30-33; Ephesians 1:19‑23; Philippians 2:5‑11; 1 Cor 15:12-28; Rev 21:1-4) The followers of Christ believe, if we had lived years ago in the days of Abraham or King David, the thing we would have been looking forward to and for was for Jesus to appear as Messiah. (Many hoped and/or believed Jesus would establish his kingdom at that first coming in 29 CE [Acts 1:6] when he first appeared to start his preaching work. He did not! [John 6:14-15]) In our day, we no longer look for the appearance of Jesus as Messiah or Christ. That has happened. In our period of time, the thing we should be looking for - the thing we need to be looking for; is the second appearance of the Christ: This time as reigning King. (Mat 26:63-64; 1 Cor 15:25-27) To that end, we need to understand all we can about what the Bible, and Christ Jesus himself, teaches about his second coming. This webpage is dedicated to that goal.
Overview: Today's residents of earth are witness to The Coming of the King! Christ is reigning from his heavenly throne as he goes subduing in the midst of his enemies. (Psa 110:2 of 110‑111; Mat 25:31-34) He is warring for hearts and minds using his words (the sword of his mouth - Rev 2:16). Even as you hear these words of Christ, you are driven to choose. (Mat 10:32-39; Deu 30:19-20) Messiah is now rising up at Armageddon to destroy any remaining enemies of his Father, those not already killed by the tribulation! Are you being reborn with a faith to preserve yourself alive? If you are reborn as a new creation, (2 Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15) that means you are drinking the blood and eating the flesh of Christ... [Consuming his words as the source of life.] Are you? (Luke 17:26‑30) Put in other words, are you taking in God's spirit contained in the waters of life which are the words Christ spoke? (John 7:37‑39) If so, don't fear Armageddon. (Luke 2:13-14; Psa 91:5‑8 of 91) It is God's war to destroy the wicked. See you soon, then, in paradise.
Additional Information! (Heb 5:11-14) Identifying the years around 1914 as the period God started awakening the earth to receive Christ's Kingship of the earth: In the mid to late 1800's, Bible scholars from several denominations pointed to 1914 as the coming year for the establishment of Christ's Kingdom over the earth [because it marked the end of what the Bible refers to as the Gentile times (Luke 21:24 of 22-28)]. It also marked the start of the "Great Tribulation" as identified by the start of WW I. The calculations they used to arrive at that 1914 date are somewhat complex, but they began counting from 607 BCE

Luke 21:24
when Jerusalem with God's glorious earthly temple was destroyed and the Davidic line of Kings interrupted.
[We are now witness to the installation of New Jerusalem with its eternal Temple. (Rev 21:1-4)That will return the parasise God created back in the Garden of Eden. (Isa 11:1-13)]
Surviving captives were carried away to Babylon. In 607, then, the nation of Babylon became the first Gentile Nation to rule as a world power without an earthly Kingdom by God. That marked the temporary end of God's kingdom on earth, and the start of earthly rule by the Gentile nations: The start of the Gentile Times. (Psa 79:1; Luke 21:24 of 22-28) The Jews were later returned to their homeland, but they were no longer the ruling world power. The Jews were subservient to the Gentiles. Secular and Bible history proves that to be so. Attempting to understand when Christ would come back to reestablish God's Davidic line and His Kingdom over the earth, (Luke 1:30-33; 1 Cor 15:12-28) then, Bible students had looked to a wonderful dream interpretation and prophecy given Daniel. The dream was had by Babylon's King Nebuchadnezzar. (Daniel 4:1-37) He saw in the dream a great felled tree which Daniel interpreted to indicate his own kingdom, which would be taken from him for a period of seven years, and then restored [remember: Babylon was the kingdom used by God to destroy his Jewish kingdom over the earth; because of the Jews own wickedness (Deu 9:4-6)]. That dream prophecy fell in it's first fulfillment on King Nebuchadnezzar, as he did loose his sanity and kingdom for 7 years, but was then restored to the throne. Just as God had said it would happen, Daniel saw it with his own eyes! The prophecy, however, had a second and greater application to the restoration of God's kingdom over earth, (Rev 21:1-4) and to the end of the Gentile times [the end of the string of secular nations that have ruled since Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon {they being Media-Persia, Greece, Rome, and England-America}]. (Luke 21:24) Applying a formula Bible students from several denominations believed to be scriptural, and counting forward from 607 B.C. when God's kingdom rule of the earth was temporarily ended, they arrived at 1914 C.E. as being the year when God's rulership of the earth would be reestablished. That prophecy preparing the earth for the eternal earthly rulership of God's Kingdom by his Christ: (1 Cor 15:12-28)

How, then, was time calculated to arrive at 1914? Counting the prophecy's 2,520 years from early October of 607 B.C.E., brings us to early October of 1914 C.E.

How, though, did they equate the “SEVEN TIMES” of Daniel's prophecy with 2,520 years?

A Biblical “time,” or year = 12 X 30 days = 360.
     (Rev 11:2-3; Rev 12:6 & 14)
In the fulfillment of the “seven times,” (2,520 days) each day equals one year.
     (Ezek 4:6; Num 14:34)
Early October, 607 B.C.E., to December 31, 607 B.C.E.= 1/4 year.
January 1, 606 B.C.E., to December 31, 1 B.C.E. = 606 years.
January 1, 1 C.E., to December 31, 1913 = 1,913 years.
January 1, 1914, to early October, 1914 = 3/4 year.
                       Total: 2,520 years.

What happened, then, in 1914 CE? Unseen to those without faith, entrusted rulership over mankind to his own firstborn Son, Jesus Christ, who was already glorified in the heavens, started the process of installing his Kingdom. That process is being completed in our day; as identified by the presence of Daniel's "little horn". (Dan 7:13-14; Dan 8:23-26; 1 Cor 15:12-28)
• You should realize and understand the difference Jesus drew and distinction he made between "The Great Tribulation" [from 1914 CE forward] (Mat 24:21-22; Mat 24:8-22) [the same as The "Tribulation of the Last Days"] and the notably different earlier and lesser "Tribulation of 'Those' Days" [or the first pangs of childbirth] which started in 607 BCE with the destruction of God's Earthly Kingdom and forward to 1914 CE; which began the "great tribulation". (Mat 24:6-22; Mat 24:8; Mat 24:29 of 29-31; Mat 24:3-8)
