What the Bible teaches about the coming of the Christ [or Messiah]:

Jesus Christ is referred to in the Bible by many titles. Probably the most important in the mind of most is that he is our "Savior" (John 4:42) sacrificing his life as the ransom for our sins. Jesus is referred to as the "son of God," (John 20:31 ; John 3:17-18 ; Mark 3:11-12) the "faithful and true witness," (Revelation 3:14) and even as the "word of God." (Revelation 19:11-13)

Jesus himself taught us the message he delivered, between the years 29 and 33 C.E., was a treasure more important than anything we could seek. (Matthew 13:44) He indicated his message brought hope for everyone having faith: As he compared the importance of his making sure the poor and downtrodden got preached to, with the value of his raising the dead and healing the sick. (Matthew 11:5; Luke 4:18-19) [Be clear: Those scriptures make plain Jesus believed the lowly ones being talked to about the hope of Christ's kingdom, was just as important as raising the dead. We should all fully understand Jesus's Father is not partial. (Acts 10:34)]

The Bible says at the mouth of two witnesses a thing is established. (2 Corinthians 13:1) God asserted laws for mankind, and further stated that his Law Code was good for all. Being fully obedient and faithful to his Father, Jesus provided the second witness to God's goodness...

Being perfect and good, God chooses to act in harmony with his own laws. When Satan and Adam and Eve rebelled against the right of God to establish law, God set in motion a plan using one of Eve's descendants to fix the damage the three rebels caused. (Gen 3:15) Helping us understand God's provision of life by sending Christ as that "seed of the woman," is one of the things Jesus came to do.

Christ is given a kingdom and power, so that every knee should confess and bend to him. Christ Jesus is thus raised to a position to make himself the second witness to establish the righteousness of God's sovereignty: To firmly establish forever that God's rule is good. That is finished when all Christ's enemies have been made his footstool, and then, by Jesus freely re-submitting himself (and of course the kingdom God has given him) to his Father: By all Jesus did at his first coming (including sacrificing his very life - John 10:17‑18), and finally [yet in the future], by his act of returning the kingdom to his Father, Christ will forever demonstrate loyalty and faithfulness to his heavenly Father and God. (John 20:17) He thus [fulfills the law and] becomes the second witness to the goodness, and to the right, of God's rule. He restores peace and harmony to the universe, with his Father as ruler of heaven as well as ruler over an earth full of perfect people submitted to God's Son. Do you now understand: It will be just as God intended when he created Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden? (Gen 1:31; Isa 11:1‑12; Psa 37:29 of 27‑24; Job 33:13‑30) Some even speculate it will take the same amount of time to get us to the completion of God's will toward the earth, as it would have taken if Adam and Eve had never sinned... This truly is the greatest story ever told! And... It is the God's truth!
