Nehemiah
Overview: The Bible Book of Nehemiah recounts the glorious reconstruction of ancient Jerusalem under the direction of Nehemiah, and, of course, the protection of
יהוה. It also foreshadows the far more glorious creation and establishment of
New Jerusalem we see happening now. (
Rev 21:1-4) We are
[should be] having part in the restoration of the Paradise God created when He planted Adam and Eve in the Garden. (
Mat 25:34;
Isa 32:15-18;
2 Pet 3:10-13) Nehemiah verse 8 tells of a reawakening among the people to the knowledge of their great God; the same awakening we can have in reading the words of Jesus Christ. (
Matthew,
Mark,
Luke and
John) Nehemiah Verse 9 tells of the unified blessing in recognizing the newly reaffirmed agreement between them and God. Our glorious new agreement with
יהוה is based on our knowledge of, and faith in, the Words of His Christ. Do you have faith to appreciate the comparison? Are you talking about what you have learned from Christ, and thus having your part the God's work... (
Mal 3:16-4:3) Or, do you remain part of one of the
factions of this world? Do you understand those factions are the
fabric of the
tribulation and are thus being destroyed by
יהוה. (
Zep 1:12-2:4)
