Luke 24:25-27 CEV . . .Then Jesus asked the two disciples, "Why can't you understand? How can you be so slow to believe all that the prophets said? (26) Didn't you know that the Messiah would have to suffer before he was given his glory?" (27) Jesus then explained everything written about himself in the Scriptures, beginning with the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets.

(26) Didn't the Messiah have to suffer these things and enter into his glory?" (27) Then he began with Moses' Teachings and the Prophets to explain to them what was said about him throughout the Scriptures.

(27) And Jesus explained to them what was said about himself in all the Scriptures, beginning with the books of Moses and the writings of all the prophets.

Luke 24:25-27 ESV . . .And he said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! (26) Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?" (27) And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
