••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••

Exodus 7:8-12 GNB . . .The LORD  (יהוה) said to Moses and Aaron, (9) "If the king demands that you prove yourselves by performing a miracle, tell Aaron to take his walking stick and throw it down in front of the king, and it will turn into a snake." (10) So Moses and Aaron went to the king and did as the LORD  (יהוה) had commanded. Aaron threw his walking stick down in front of the king and his officers, and it turned into a snake. (11) Then the king called for his wise men and magicians [Religionists], and by their magic they did the same thing. (12) They threw down their walking sticks, and the sticks turned into snakes. But Aaron's stick swallowed theirs.

Exodus 7:8-12 NWT . . .Jehovah  (יהוה) now said to Moses and Aaron: 9 “In case that Phar´aoh speaks to YOU, saying, ‘Produce a miracle for yourselves,’ then you must say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and throw it down before Phar´aoh.’ It will become a big snake.” 10 So Moses and Aaron went on in to Phar´aoh and did exactly as Jehovah  (יהוה) had commanded. Accordingly Aaron threw his rod down before Phar´aoh and his servants and it became a big snake. 11 However, Phar´aoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers; and the magic-practicing priests of Egypt themselves also proceeded to do the same thing with their magic arts. 12 So they threw down each one his rod, and they became big snakes; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

Exodus 7:8-12 ESV . . .Then the LORD  (יהוה) said to Moses and Aaron, (9) "When Pharaoh says to you, 'Prove yourselves by working a miracle,' then you shall say to Aaron, 'Take your staff and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it may become a serpent.'" (10) So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD  (יהוה) commanded. Aaron cast down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent. (11) Then Pharaoh summoned the wise men and the sorcerers, and they, the magicians of Egypt, also did the same by their secret arts. (12) For each man cast down his staff, and they became serpents. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs.

Exodus 7:8-12 CEV . . .The LORD  (יהוה) said, "Moses, when the king asks you and Aaron to perform a miracle, command Aaron to throw his walking stick down in front of the king, and it will turn into a snake." (9) (SEE 7:8) (10) Moses and Aaron went to the king and his officials and did exactly as the LORD  (יהוה) had commanded--Aaron threw the stick down, and it turned into a snake. (11) Then the king called in the wise men and the magicians, who used their secret powers to do the same thing-- (12) they threw down sticks that turned into snakes. But Aaron's snake swallowed theirs.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
