Zephaniah 3:14-20 MWT . . .Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! (15) יהוה has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; (Rev 21:1-4) you shall never again fear evil. (16) On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem : "Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak. (17) יהוה your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. (18) I will gather those of you who mourn for the festival, so that you will no longer suffer reproach. (19) Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth. (20) At that time I will bring you in, at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before their eyes," says יהוה.
Zephaniah 3:14-20 CEV . . .Everyone in Jerusalem and Judah, celebrate and shout with all your heart! (15) Zion, your punishment is over. The LORD (יהוה) has forced your enemies to turn and retreat. Your LORD (יהוה) is King of Israel and stands at your side; you don't have to worry about any more troubles. (16) Jerusalem , the time is coming, when it will be said to you: "Don't be discouraged or grow weak from fear! (17) The LORD (יהוה) your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love." (18) The LORD (יהוה) has promised: Your sorrow has ended, and you can celebrate. (19) I will punish those who mistreat you. I will bring together the lame and the outcasts, then they will be praised, instead of despised, in every country on earth. (20) I will lead you home, and with your own eyes you will see me bless you with all you once owned. Then you will be famous everywhere on this earth. I, the LORD (יהוה), have spoken!

(16) On that day Jerusalem will be told, "Do not be afraid, Zion! Do not lose courage!" (17) The LORD (יהוה) your God is with you. He is a hero who saves you. He happily rejoices over you, renews you with his love, and celebrates over you with shouts of joy. (18) "I will gather those among you who are troubled because of the festivals. They bear a burden of disgrace. (19) At that time I will deal with all who have overpowered you. I will rescue those who are lame. I will gather those who have been scattered. I will make them praised and famous in all the world, though they had been ashamed. (20) At that time I will bring you home. Yes, at that time I will gather you together. I will make you famous and praised among all the people of the earth when I restore your fortunes right before your eyes," says the LORD (יהוה).
Zephaniah 3:14-20 GNB . . .Sing and shout for joy, people of Israel! Rejoice with all your heart, Jerusalem ! (15) The LORD (יהוה) has stopped your punishment; he has removed all your enemies. The LORD (יהוה), the king of Israel, is with you; there is no reason now to be afraid. (16) The time is coming when they will say to Jerusalem , "Do not be afraid, city of Zion! Do not let your hands hang limp! (17) The LORD (יהוה) your God is with you; his power gives you victory. The LORD (יהוה) will take delight in you, and in his love he will give you new life. He will sing and be joyful over you, (18) as joyful as people at a festival." The LORD (יהוה) says, "I have ended the threat of doom and taken away your disgrace. (19) The time is coming! I will punish your oppressors; I will rescue all the lame and bring the exiles home. I will turn their shame to honor, and all the world will praise them. (20) The time is coming! I will bring your scattered people home; I will make you famous throughout the world and make you prosperous once again." The LORD (יהוה) has spoken.

(18) I will gather the afflicted ones from the appointed place; they were from you, a lifting up of reproach over her. (19) Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you. And I will save her who is lame, and gather her who was thrust out. And I will give them for a praise and for a name in all the land of their shame. (20) In that time I will bring you, even in the time I gather you. For I will give you for a name and for a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says Jehovah (יהוה).
