Revelation 21:5-8 GW The one sitting on the throne said, "I am making everything new." He said, "Write this: 'These words are faithful and true.'" (6) He said to me, "It has happened! I am the A (Alpha) and the Z (Omega), the beginning and the end. I will give a drink from the fountain filled with the water of life to anyone who is thirsty. (The words of Christ are the fountain of waters of life. - John 4:7‑26) It won't cost anything. (7) Everyone who wins the victory (by expressing faith in Christ) will inherit these things. I will be their God, and they will be my children. (8) But cowardly, unfaithful, and detestable people, murderers, sexual sinners, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselves in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

[Note: The first death is the death we inherited from Adam. We can be resurrected from or even step out of that death (by expressing faith in Christ). (John 5:24) The second death is the one we die for having rejected the truth (the life giving waters) brought us by Jesus. (John 12:46-50) The second death is eternal destruction and can come only from the hand of God. You don't have to suffer the first death to be killed by the second death. I believe we are living during (or through) the revelation: All those with faith hear these words of the Angel to John. All of them are seeing through eyes of faith those words have come true: Christ is riding forth from the heavens using his words as the sword of his mouth, to first expose and then to destroy all the wicked. (Rev 19:11‑16; Psa 58) These simple words leave fake Christians and all who fail to accept Christ with no excuse; which also means they are left with no where to hide! (Rev 6:12‑17)]

(6) And he said, "It is done! I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end. To anyone who is thirsty I will give the right to drink from the spring of the water of life (The words of Christ are the fountain of waters of life. - John 4:7‑26) without paying for it. (7) Those who win the victory (by expressing faith in Christ) will receive this from me: I will be their God, and they will be my children. (8) But cowards, traitors, perverts, murderers, the immoral, those who practice magic, those who worship idols, and all liars---the place for them is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life (The words of Christ are the fountain of waters of life. - John 4:7‑26) without payment. (7) The one who conquers (by expressing faith in Christ) will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. (8) But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain (The words of Christ are the fountain of waters of life. - John 4:7‑26) to everyone who is thirsty. (7) All who win the victory (by expressing faith in Christ) will be given these blessings. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (8) But I will tell you what will happen to cowards and to everyone who is unfaithful or dirty-minded or who murders or is sexually immoral or uses witchcraft or worships idols or tells lies. They will be thrown into that lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is the second death.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek.
