Matthew 10:24-33 CEV . . .Disciples are not better than their teacher, and slaves are not better than their master. (25) It is enough for disciples to be like their teacher and for slaves to be like their master. If people call the head of the family Satan, what will they say about the rest of the family? (26) Don't be afraid of anyone! Everything that is hidden will be found out, and every secret will be known. (27) Whatever I say to you in the dark, you must tell in the light. And you must announce from the housetops whatever I have whispered to you. (28) Don't be afraid of people. They can kill you, but they cannot harm your soul. Instead, you should fear God who can destroy both your body and your soul in hell. (29) Aren't two sparrows sold for only a penny? But your Father knows when any one of them falls to the ground. (30) Even the hairs on your head are counted. (31) So don't be afraid! You are worth much more than many sparrows. (32) If you tell others that you belong to me, I will tell my Father in heaven that you are my followers. (33) But if you reject me, I will tell my Father in heaven that you don't belong to me.
Matthew 10:25-33 GNB . . .So a pupil should be satisfied to become like his teacher, and a slave like his master. If the head of the family is called Beelzebul, the members of the family will be called even worse names! (26) "So do not be afraid of people. Whatever is now covered up will be uncovered, and every secret will be made known. (27) What I am telling you in the dark you must repeat in broad daylight, and what you have heard in private you must announce from the housetops. (28) Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of God, who can destroy both body and soul in hell. (29) For only a penny you can buy two sparrows, yet not one sparrow falls to the ground without your Father's consent. (30) As for you, even the hairs of your head have all been counted. (31) So do not be afraid; you are worth much more than many sparrows! (32) "Those who declare publicly that they belong to me, I will do the same for them before my Father in heaven. (33) But those who reject me publicly, I will reject before my Father in heaven.
Matthew 10:24-33 GW . . ."A student is not better than his teacher. Nor is a slave better than his owner. (25) It is enough for a student to become like his teacher and a slave like his owner. If they have called the owner of the house Beelzebul, they will certainly call the family members the same name. (26) So don't be afraid of them. Nothing has been covered that will not be exposed. Whatever is secret will be made known. (27) Tell in the daylight what I say to you in the dark. Shout from the housetops what you hear whispered. (28) Don't be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell. (29) "Aren't two sparrows sold for a penny? Not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's permission. (30) Every hair on your head has been counted. (31) Don't be afraid! You are worth more than many sparrows. (32) "So I will acknowledge in front of my Father in heaven that person who acknowledges me in front of others. (33) But I will tell my Father in heaven that I don't know the person who tells others that he doesn't know me.
Matthew 10:24-33 BBE . . .A disciple is not greater than his master, or a servant than his lord. (25) It is enough for the disciple that he may be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have given the name Beelzebub to the master of the house, how much more to those of his house! (26) Have, then, no fear of them: because nothing is covered which will not come to light, or secret which will not be made clear. (27) What I say to you in the dark, say in the light: and what comes to your ear secretly, say publicly from the house-tops. (28) And have no fear of those who put to death the body, but are not able to put to death the soul. But have fear of him who has power to give soul and body to destruction in hell. (29) Are not sparrows two a farthing? and not one of them comes to an end without your Father: (30) But the hairs of your head are all numbered. (31) Then have no fear; you are of more value than a flock of sparrows. (32) To everyone, then, who gives witness to me before men, I will give witness before my Father in heaven. (33) But if anyone says before men that he has no knowledge of me, I will say that I have no knowledge of him before my Father in heaven.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
