John 17:20-26 GW . . ."I'm not praying only for them [Jesus's followers]. I'm also praying for those who will believe in me through their message. (21) I pray that all of these people continue to have unity in the way that you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they may be united with us so that the world will believe that you have sent me. (22) I have given them the glory that you gave me. I did this so that they are united in the same way we are. (23) I am in them, and you are in me. So they are completely united. In this way the world knows that you have sent me and that you have loved them in the same way you have loved me. (24) "Father, I want those you have given to me to be with me, to be where I am. [Jesus is being revealed to earth with his Kingdom (Rev 21:1-4) so God will be with mankind through his Son forevermore. (Mat 6:9-10)] I want them to see my glory, which you gave me because you loved me before the world was made. (25) Righteous Father, the world didn't know you. Yet, I knew you, and these disciples have known that you sent me. (26) I have made your name known to them, and I will make it known so that the love you have for me will be in them and I will be in them."
John 17:20-26 CEV . . .I am not praying just for these followers. I am also praying for everyone else who will have faith because of what my followers will say about me. (21) I want all of them to be one with each other, just as I am one with you and you are one with me. I also want them to be one with us. Then the people of this world will believe that you sent me. (22) I have honored my followers in the same way that you honored me, in order that they may be one with each other, just as we are one. (23) I am one with them, and you are one with me, so that they may become completely one. Then this world's people will know that you sent me. They will know that you love my followers as much as you love me. (24) Father, I want everyone you have given me to be with me, wherever I am. [Jesus is being revealed to earth with his Kingdom (Rev 21:1-4) so God will be with mankind through his Son forevermore. (Mat 6:9-10)] Then they will see the glory that you have given me, because you loved me before the world was created. (25) Good Father, the people of this world don't know you. But I know you, and my followers know that you sent me. (26) I told them what you are like, and I will tell them even more. Then the love that you have for me will become part of them, and I will be one with them.
John 17:20-26 GNB . . ."I pray not only for them [Jesus's followers], but also for those who believe in me because of their message. (21) I pray that they may all be one. Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me. (22) I gave them the same glory you gave me, so that they may be one, just as you and I are one: (23) I in them and you in me, so that they may be completely one, in order that the world may know that you sent me and that you love them as you love me. (24) "Father! You have given them to me, and I want them to be with me where I am, [Jesus is being revealed to earth with his Kingdom (Rev 21:1-4) so God will be with mankind through his Son forevermore. (Mat 6:9-10)] so that they may see my glory, the glory you gave me; for you loved me before the world was made. (25) Righteous Father! The world does not know you, but I know you, and these know that you sent me. (26) I made you known to them, and I will continue to do so, in order that the love you have for me may be in them, and so that I also may be in them."
John 17:20-26 ESV . . ."I do not ask for these only [Jesus's followers], but also for those who will believe in me through their word, (21) that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. (22) The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, (23) I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. (24) Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, [Jesus is being revealed to earth with his Kingdom (Rev 21:1-4) so God will be with mankind through his Son forevermore. (Mat 6:9-10)] to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. (25) O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. (26) I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them."

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
