Isaiah 8:9-13 MWT
. . .Gather together in fear, you nations! Listen, you distant parts of the earth. Get ready to fight, but be terrified! Yes, get ready, but be afraid! (10) Make your plans! But they will never succeed. Talk all you want to! But it is all useless, because God is with his people. (Gal 3:19-29) (11) With his great power יהוה warned me not to follow the road which the people of this world were following. He said, (12) "Do not join in the schemes of the people and do not be afraid of the things that they fear. (13) Remember that I, יהוה, the LORD Almighty am holy; I am the one you must fear.
Isaiah 8:9-13 GW
. . .Be broken, you people. Be terrified. Listen, all you distant parts of the earth. Prepare for battle, but be terrified. Prepare for battle, but be terrified. (10) Make plans for battle, but they will never succeed. Give orders, but they won't be carried out, because God is with us! (Gal 3:19-29) (11) This is what the LORD (יהוה) said with his powerful hand on me. He warned me not to follow the ways of these people: (12) "Don't say that everything these people call a conspiracy is a conspiracy. Don't fear what they fear. Don't let it terrify you." (13) Remember that the LORD (יהוה) of Armies is holy. He is the one you should fear and the one you should be terrified of.
Isaiah 8:9-13 LITV
. . .O peoples, suffer evil, and be broken! And listen, all from the far places of the earth; gird yourselves, and be broken. Gird yourselves and be broken!
(10) Counsel a counsel, and it is frustrated; speak a word, and it shall not rise; for God is with us. (Gal 3:19-29)
(11) For so Jehovah (יהוה) spoke to me with a strong hand, and taught me against walking in the way of this people, saying,
(12) Do not say, A conspiracy, to everything of which this people says, A conspiracy! And do not fear its fear, and do not dread.
(13) Sanctify Jehovah (יהוה) of Hosts Himself, and let Him be your fear; and let Him be your dread.
Isaiah 8:9-13 ASV
. . .Make an uproar, O ye peoples, and be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces.
(10) Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. (Gal 3:19-29)
(11) For Jehovah (יהוה) spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,
(12) Say ye not, A conspiracy, concerning all whereof this people shall say, A conspiracy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be in dread thereof.
(13) Jehovah (יהוה) of hosts, him shall ye sanctify; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
Isaiah 8:9-13 NWT
. . .Be injurious, O you peoples, and be shattered to pieces; and give ear, all you in distant parts of the earth! Gird yourselves, and be shattered to pieces! Gird yourselves, and be shattered to pieces! 10 Plan out a scheme, and it will be broken up! Speak any word, and it will not stand, for God is with us! (Gal 3:19-29) 11 For this is what Jehovah (יהוה) has said to me with strongness of the hand, that he may make me turn aside from walking in the way of this people, saying: 12 "You men must not say, 'A conspiracy!' respecting all that of which this people keep saying, 'A conspiracy!' and the object of their fear you men must not fear, nor must you tremble at it. 13 Jehovah (יהוה) of armies-he is the One whom you should treat as holy, and he should be the object of your fear, and he should be the One causing you to tremble."

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
ALT - Analytical Literal Translation
ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
Darby - 1889 Darby Bible
DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible
BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English
LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible
KJV - King James Version
MKJV - Modern King James Version
NWT - New World Translation
