As verse 20 of Isaiah 26 instructs, all the faithful of the earth are now entered into their interior room of hope and faith, waiting for the destruction of this old world system to pass over... (
Zep 1:14-2:4)
[They have each one avoided the interior rooms of death. (Pro 7:27 of 1-27)]
Isaiah 26:15-21 GW . . .You have expanded the nation, O LORD (יהוה). You have expanded the nation. You are honored. You have extended all the land's boundaries. (16) O LORD (יהוה), the people have come to you in trouble. They were humbled by oppression, by your discipline upon them. (17) O LORD (יהוה), when we are with you, we are like pregnant women ready to give birth. They writhe and cry out in their labor pains. (18) We were pregnant; we writhed with labor pains only to give birth to the wind. We weren't able to bring salvation to the land, and no new people were born on earth. (19) Your dead will live. Their corpses will rise. Those who lie dead in the dust will wake up and shout for joy, because your dew is a refreshing dew, and the earth will revive the spirits of the dead. (20) My people, go to your rooms, and shut the doors behind you. Hide for a little while until his fury has ended.
(21) The LORD (יהוה) is going to come out from his dwelling place to punish those who live on earth for their sins. The earth will uncover the blood shed on it and will no longer cover up its dead bodies.
Isaiah 26:15-21 NWT . . .You have added to the nation; O Jehovah (יהוה), you have added to the nation; you have glorified yourself. You have extended afar all the borders of the land. 16 O Jehovah (יהוה), during distress they have turned their attention to you; they have poured out a whisper [of prayer] when they had your disciplining. 17 Just as a pregnant woman draws near to giving birth, has labor pains, cries out in her birth pangs, so we have become because of you, O Jehovah (יהוה). 18 We have become pregnant, we have had labor pains; as it were, we have given birth to wind. No real salvation do we accomplish as regards the land, and no inhabitants for the productive land proceed to fall [in birth]. 19 “Your dead ones will live. A corpse of mine—they will rise up. Awake and cry out joyfully, YOU residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of mallows, and the earth itself will let even those impotent in death drop [in birth].
20 “Go, my people, enter into your interior rooms, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for but a moment until the denunciation passes over.
21 For, look! Jehovah (יהוה) is coming forth from his place to call to account the error of the inhabitant of the land against him, and the land will certainly expose her bloodshed and will no longer cover over her killed ones.”
Isaiah 26:15-21 ESV . . .But you have increased the nation, O LORD (יהוה), you have increased the nation; you are glorified; you have enlarged all the borders of the land. (16) O LORD (יהוה), in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them. (17) Like a pregnant woman who writhes and cries out in her pangs when she is near to giving birth, so were we because of you, O LORD (יהוה); (18) we were pregnant, we writhed, but we have given birth to wind. We have accomplished no deliverance in the earth, and the inhabitants of the world have not fallen. (19) Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the dead. (20) Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by.
(21) For behold, the LORD (יהוה) is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain.
Isaiah 26:15-21 LITV . . .You have added to the nation, Jehovah (יהוה); You have added to the nation, You are glorified; You have put far off all the ends of the land. (16) Jehovah (יהוה), they visited You in distress; they poured out a whisper; Your chastening was to them. (17) As a woman with child draws near to bear, she writhes and cries out in her pangs. So are we before You, Jehovah (יהוה). (18) We conceived; we writhe; as it were, we gave birth to wind. We have not worked salvation for the earth; and those living in the world have not fallen. (19) Your dead ones shall live, my dead body, they shall rise up. Awake and sing, dust dwellers; for the dew of lights is your dew; and the earth shall cast out departed spirits. (20) Come, My people, go in your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Hide for a little moment, until the fury passes.
(21) For, behold, Jehovah (יהוה) comes out of His place to visit his iniquity on those dwelling on the earth. The earth shall also reveal her blood, and shall no more cover over her slain ones.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
