Genesis 18:16-19 LITV And the men rose up from there and looked on the face of Sodom. And Abraham was going with them, to send them away. (17) And Jehovah  ( יהוה ) said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I am doing? (18) And Abraham shall become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? (19) For I have known him, so that whatever he may command his sons and his house after him, even they may keep the way of Jehovah  ( יהוה ), to do righteousness and justice; to the intent that Jehovah  ( יהוה ) may bring on Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

Genesis 18:16-19 GNB Then the men left and went to a place where they could look down at Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on their way. (17) And the LORD  ( יהוה ) said to himself, "I will not hide from Abraham what I am going to do. (18) His descendants will become a great and mighty nation, and through him I will bless all the nations. (19) I have chosen him in order that he may command his sons and his descendants to obey me and to do what is right and just. If they do, I will do everything for him that I have promised."

Genesis 18:16-19 NWT 16 Later the men got up from there and looked down toward Sod´om, and Abraham was walking with them to escort them. 17 And Jehovah  ( יהוה ) said: “Am I keeping covered from Abraham what I am doing? 18 Why, Abraham is surely going to become a nation great and mighty, and all the nations of the earth must bless themselves by means of him. 19 For I have become acquainted with him in order that he may command his sons and his household after him so that they shall keep Jehovah's  ( יהוה ) way to do righteousness and judgment; in order that Jehovah  ( יהוה ) may certainly bring upon Abraham what he has spoken about him.”

Genesis 18:16-19 CEV When the three men got ready to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked part of the way with them. (17) The LORD  ( יהוה ) said to himself, "I should tell Abraham what I am going to do, (18) since his family will become a great and powerful nation that will be a blessing to all other nations on earth. (19) I have chosen him to teach his family to obey me forever and to do what is right and fair. Then I will give Abraham many descendants, just as I promised."

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
