••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••

Genesis 11:5-9 ESV . . .And the LORD  (יהוה) came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. (6) And the LORD  (יהוה) said, "Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. (7) Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech." (8) So the LORD  (יהוה) dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. (9) Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD  (יהוה) confused the language of all the earth. And from there the LORD  (יהוה) dispersed them over the face of all the earth.

Genesis 11:5-9 LITV . . .And Jehovah  (יהוה) came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of Adam had built. (6) And Jehovah  (יהוה) said, Behold, the people is one, and the lip one to all of them, and this they are beginning to do, and now all which they have purposed to do will not be restrained from them. (7) Come, let Us go down and confuse their language so that they cannot understand one another's speech. (8) And Jehovah  (יהוה) scattered them from there, over the face of all the earth. And they stopped building the city. (9) On account of this its name is called Babel, because Jehovah  (יהוה) confused the language of all the earth there. And Jehovah  (יהוה) scattered them abroad from there on the face of all the earth.

Genesis 11:5-9 GNB . . .Then the LORD  (יהוה) came down to see the city and the tower which they had built, (6) and he said, "Now then, these are all one people and they speak one language; this is just the beginning of what they are going to do. Soon they will be able to do anything they want! (7) Let us go down and mix up their language so that they will not understand each other." (8) So the LORD  (יהוה) scattered them all over the earth, and they stopped building the city. (9) The city was called Babylon, because there the LORD  (יהוה) mixed up the language of all the people, and from there he scattered them all over the earth.

Genesis 11:5-9 Darby . . .And Jehovah  (יהוה) came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men built. (6) And Jehovah  (יהוה) said, Behold, the people is one, and have all one language; and this have they begun to do. And now will they be hindered in nothing that they meditate doing. (7) Come, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. (8) And Jehovah  (יהוה) scattered them thence over the face of the whole earth. And they left off building the city. (9) Therefore was its name called Babel; because Jehovah  (יהוה) there confounded the language of the whole earth. And Jehovah  (יהוה) scattered them thence over the face of the whole earth.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
