2 Corinthians 5:18-21 ALT (18) And all these [things are] of God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and having given to us the ministry of that reconciliation, (19) how that God was in Christ reconciling [the] world to Himself, not imputing their transgressions to them and having put in [or, having committed to] us the word of that reconciliation. (20) Therefore, we serve as ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God [were] appealing through us: we implore [you] on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (21) For the One not having known sin, He made sin on our behalf, so that we shall become [the] righteousness of God in Him!
It seems important to understand the message of salvation is from Christ, and can only come from Christ; it being alive in the words his Father sent "him" to bring. (John 6:63; Heb 4:12-13) All the rest of us can do is direct others to read the words of Christ, the same as we have done if we truly know him. (Mark 3:31-35; Acts 4:12)

(20) We are ambassadors therefore for Christ, God as it were beseeching by us, we entreat for Christ, Be reconciled to God. (21) Him who knew not sin he has made sin for us, that *we* might become God's righteousness in him.

(21) For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

(2 Corinthians 5:18-21) . . .But all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of the reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was by means of Christ reconciling a world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and he committed the word of the reconciliation to us. 20 We are therefore ambassadors substituting for Christ, as though God were making entreaty through us. As substitutes for Christ we beg: “Become reconciled to God.” 21 The one who did not know sin he made to be sin for us, that we might become God’s righteousness by means of him.
